This chapter is about the Cleopatra. The question is that who and where is Cleopatra? She was the last pharaoh of Egypt. Right now her image is on the popular brand of cigarettes in the middle east. Many people in the Egypt believed that she was revolved the sun as asteroid 216 kleopatra. The literature critic Harold bloom memorably referred to her as the world first celebrity.
Yet if she is everywhere, Cleopatra is nowhere. There is unreliable depiction of her face. What images that do exist are based on unflattering phantoms on coins. There is an unrevealing six- meter tall images in temple. Museums display a few- statue, most which might not be of Cleopatra. People have wondered about location of cleopatra mausoleum since romans entered to Alexandria 30 BC. She barricaded herself behind the door of her mausoleum that surrounding by gold, silver, pearls, and other treasures. It may have been in the mausoleum where she killed herself at the age of 39. So she could escape from humiliation of defeat and captivity. Everything that we know about the Cleopatra life, no one really knows how she died and where is her burial place. Considering it was known by some to be beautiful city in ancient Egypt, Alexendor has attracted less attention than the older sites near the Nile such as Giza pyramids or the monuments at Luxor. A succession of earthquakes, tsunamis, rising seas, and recycling of building stones have destroyed the ancient quarter where Cleopatra and her ancestors lived for three centuries. Most of the glory now submerged under six meter water. In the past new decades researcher have begun searching about Cleopatra burial place. They discoveries like massive stones, statue paving, and columns provide us with a better understanding.
