The qualities that a hacker or virus writer might has: according to the Sarah Gordon, an expert in computer virus and security technology, senior research fellow security responds. Since 1992, she has studied psychology about virus writers. She said that one virus writer or hacker could be next door to you, a 50 years old woman, a guy at the checkout lines bagging your groceries. She has come to know have varied background; predominantly male some are female, some are solidly academic, some are athletics, some have friendship with positive sex; but they don’t spend all the times in the basement. So you wouldn’t pick them out of being in lineup and call them perpetrator.
The different amid hackers and virus writers: hackers and virus writer have many different, for example hackers tend to have more knowledge of system, they tend to go deeper in the individual application, but virus writers generally take the shallower approach to what they are doing and virus writing is looked down, mostly for its random damage and lack of required skill.
The motivation and goals of virus writers and hackers: their motivation and goals might be different. Both of them attracted by technical challenge, hacking is more for the power and control. When you are hacking one computer, you remain involved and you want to dominate in that computer; but writer want to relinquishes control and computer and they became disassociated from actual activities that his or her has set in motion.
reasons and factors of writing virus: Gordon explains the reason of writing virus. Some may perceive it as technical challenge, even though writing virus is very easy. it takes only two minutes and less. depending in the application you are using. Something that makes the program viral and significant is some codes that they are much more complex to use them for virus.
The task of younger people in a virus writing group: younger virus writers get some part in a group. For -example they have to decipher identity, the special people that they want. It might be a way to make a social statement. If you are younger person in these group, who does not have much power and experience, you can assert yourself with a political statement in a virus that travelling around the world, so you think you have difference.
